Attention Nursing Students--Gain acute care, post-surgical experience! Under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, provides outcome-based nursing care. Observe and report the patient's response and progress to interventions. Works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne. Currently enrolled, and attending, final semester/term of an accredited nursing program with a cummulative grade point average (GPA) of a C of better; or, graduated within 6 months from an accredited nursing program and earned an average GPA of C or better. BLS. Mandatory Reporter. ACLS (ASU, O/P Clinic). May work as a Student Nurse Tech for a period not to exceed 6 months from the date of graduation.
