Job Title: Intern

To provide valuable work experience within a business environment to outstanding college students ranging from the first year through the master’s level. This is a summer employment opportunity with work/training experience and serves as a process to identify and track students for potential full-time employment.

Essential Functions

  • Attend meetings with manager and corporate executives, workshops, strategic planning sessions, networking events, and other relevant business activities.

  • Complete all projects and duties assigned,including all items on individual Intern Work Plan.

  • Actively reflect on what was learned throughout the experience and how these skills can be applied to college or career goals.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. In some cases, the work environment will be outdoors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a seasonal full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Some travel may be required as determined by management.


  • Must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or above

  • A valid driver license is strongly recommended

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must come from an accredited U.S. college or university

  • Must be free of any past felony convictions or any pending felony charges


  • Must be majoring in an area of Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, Tribal Management, Law, Computer Science or Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Economics, Sales/Marketing, Human Resources, Education, Agriculture, Retail, Operations, Construction, Architecture, Casino Management, or related degree program.

  • Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a two-year or four-year college degree program or trade/vocational school.
