Overall Job Function:
This position will incorporate skillsets such as Social Media, Marketing, Advertising, SEO, Graphic Design, and Content Creation to support Marketing and Communication’s Team. The ideal candidate is creative, but also has a drive to analyze results, and strives to exceed their own performance daily. The Marketing and Communications internship is an exciting opportunity to learn and contribute to digital strategies that support the company’s overall marketing and business objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
Primary responsibilities and opportunities for learning will include:
Writing and editing for websites article, advertisements and longer form marketing content
Selection of stock photography
Photo editing and image creation using Adobe programs
Training and work inside website CMS.
Analytics and reporting through systems including Google Analytics
Create new marketing assets by repurposing content such as video, audio and text into branded top of funnel and social assets.
Format and publish created content on digital platforms, including website, sales pages, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest as needed.
Collaborate with different FCS divisions and teams from concept through layout in order to develop strong content pieces.
Track and report on published content performance.
Organize and plan details for multiple projects in order to meet project deadline.
Ability to understand new concepts quickly
Intuitive with social media and technology as a whole
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Intermediate computer proficiency in Windows applications including Microsoft Excel

Education & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years combined experience and/or education in marketing, digital marketing, copywriting or graphic design.
Social media platform publishing and trafficking experience, including but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest & YouTube, etc.
HTML knowledge or experience is a strong plus
Highly coachable and intellectually curious
High level of customer service focus.
This position is based in a fast paced agricultural setting and is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and vibrations. The employees is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate but occasionally may be loud. PPE will be provided and must be utilized according to safety standards. Typical working hours are based on customer and organizational demand; hours may be long, irregular and including weekends and holidays during peak season.
While performing job functions the employee will be required to talk and hear most of the time. The employee will spend frequent intervals moving and sitting, while also needing to reach, bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel. The employee will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and maneuver on and off a mobile equipment. Ability of close, distant, color and peripheral vision is required; along with accurate depth perception. The physicality of this job is high.
