1 - First Shift

The Standard Repair Time Analyst Intern develops and evaluates standard repair times (SRTs) for machine and engine repairs. SRTs deliver a consistent customer experience through uniform repair times, provide a norm to evaluate shop efficiency and enable insight into field performance of Vermeer equipment. This position provides analytical and technical support to improve the accuracy of standard repair times, enable easier identification of the correct SRT for technicians, and identify opportunities for development of new SRTs. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and dealers.

What You’ll Do

  1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.

  2. Create and maintain standard repair times in the Vermeer repair database.

  3. Utilize data analysis methods to evaluate SRT outliers, inaccuracies, and opportunities for additional repair time codes.

  4. Partner with technical support, engineering and component vendors to specify repair times.

What We’re Looking For

  • High School diploma required.

  • Current student pursing a Bachelor's degree in Business or technical field.

  • Previous internship is a plus.

  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.

  • Knowledge of construction and/or agricultural equipment.

  • Demonstration of good verbal and written communication skills.

Travel

  • No travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
