This position will lead an HR talent metric deep dive into critical talent roles, strategy roles, HR scorecard breakdown and create vitals cards of all HR areas.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.2. Analyze large data sets using various statistical methods to identify patterns within data, to gain insight into process performance, and identify opportunities to improve data quality. Leverage current information sources including databases, data and process models, business requirements and other artifacts to research and resolve issues. Interprets, draws conclusions, makes recommendations, and presents findings to customers to support business questions and achieve buy-in. Works with business analysts to identify opportunities to improve data use and analytical processes and assist in proposing business process improvements.3. Support workforce analytics and planning initiatives, including HR scorecard, dashboards, reports, workforce indicators. This may include creating and running a variety of HR focused reports (surveys, turnover, engagement), analyzing data and interpreting trends.4. Support talent management initiatives such as monitoring annual headcount plans, performance planning process, engagement survey, and other talent and development programs.5. Conduct analytics and reporting in support of EEO, affirmative action, and other employment law requirements. Enable effective outcomes by providing actionable insights to decision makers and recommending solutions for improvement.Education and/or Experience- High School diploma required.- Current student pursing a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.- Previous internship is a plus.Other Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of HR systems and processes.- Knowledge of and experience applying employment-related laws and regulations.- Report writing and query skills.- Knowledge of current analysis tools that are state of the art for business data development.- Strong ability to manipulate large data sets and condense data into useful high value information.- Excellent analytical skills.- Demonstration of good oral and written communication skills.- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and a mindset to continuously improve.- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task to develop and produce accurate, professional and error-free documents on a timely basis.- Ability to work with the numerous reports/documents containing confidential information.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability or veteran status.
