Position Summary: The Co-Op program is designed to offer college students the opportunity to apply their curriculum knowledge to gain practical experience. Assignments may be part of a Degree requirement. The Co-Op will participate in various assignments and/or projects that impact The Raymond Enterprise. Performs work under direct supervision. Essential Position Duties:  Receives detailed objectives from supervisor/manager or mentor.  Utilizes specialized curriculum knowledge to provide technical support.  Participates as a member of project teams.  Exchanges information with multiple departments over a variety of issues.  Performs related work as assigned. Knowledge and Skills:  Requires specialized knowledge obtained by participation in a relevant curriculum with the ability to apply this knowledge via experience-based learning.  Possesses good written and verbal communication skills.  Possesses good analytical ability and problem solving skills. Education and Experience:  Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.  This is an entry-level position; no previous experience is required. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Typically works under normal office conditions where required to sit for extended periods of time. Regularly spends significant amounts of time working in front of computer. May be asked to work in a factory/engineering lab setting for specific periods of time. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in accordance with Company policy. May physically move and lift items up to 50 pounds. Temperatures may vary widely; elevated in the summer, cold in the winter depending on the department. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained. In order to ensure a safe and drug-free work environment, successful completion of post-offer/pre-employment drug screening is required. Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. ISO Responsibilities: The Raymond Corporation is ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 registered.
