Monsanto Electrical Engineer Intern in MUSCATINE, Iowa

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer Intern. This position will be located in Muscatine, IA, reporting to the Electrical Engineer Lead.

Electrical Engineering Intern duties will include preparing design, installation and start-up of automatic process control, material handling, and distributive control systems. The intern will also gain experience assisting with documentation of the process and equipment to meet compliance with ISO 9002 certification and Process Safety Management regulations. Interns will also assist with existing/new projects in design, equipment selection, installation, checkout, troubleshooting, and start-up phases. Other responsibilities could include project development, electrical control drawing approval, programming controller specifications, software development and training.

This summer internship is scheduled for twelve weeks from May through August of 2019.


  • Students must be currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S Electrical Engineering degree program

  • Previous Co-op or Intern experience

  • Completed the sophomore year at the time of application

  • Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
