       Position: Temp Summer Grounds Worker Job Summary: Perform general maintenance, upkeep, cleaning or grounds work to maintain or improve the condition of District buildings, grounds and/or equipment. Wage:$14.00 /hour Essential Functions :

  • Basic lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, spraying, raking, planting, composting/mulching, top-dressing, etc.

  • Maintain District grounds including drainage, landscaping and sodding.

  • Maintain athletic facilities including line painting, string trimming, infield dragging and field chalking.

  • Clean Buses

  • Sharpen or clean tools such as mower blades, weed cutters, edging tools and shears

  • Exercise knowledge of proper safety techniques (including but not limited to: wearing proper personal protective equipment, handling of materials, lifting techniques, use of all equipment and climbing apparatus)

  • Ensure quality work through effective monitoring of grounds appearance

  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance
