ChildServe has an opening for a Talent Acquisition Intern. This internship offers the opportunity to learn about the recruiting strategies in a healthcare organization and contribute to projects and research related to talent trends and process optimization.

Schedule: 20-25 hours/week, Summer 2025Compensation: $15/hour

What You'll Do

  • Manage your own job requisition, supporting the process from posting to hire.

  • Support intern programming activities.

  • Lead an Interview Guide revision project.

  • Leverage sourcing and recruitment tools to learn how to identify and recruit talent.

  • Review the organization’s background check processes and provide input on improvements.

  • Review and provide recommendations on staff handbook updates.

  • Research and recommend changes to selected organizational policies.

    What You'll Need

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Business, Human Resource Management, Marketing or related program.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.

  • Ability to work on-site in our Johnston, Iowa location.
