Corteva Agriscience Mechanical Engineering Intern (Johnston, IA) in Johnston, Iowa


Grow what's next. Grow your future. Interested in putting your mechanical engineering skills to use in a dynamic, professional, setting? Corteva Agriscience is seeking a mechanical engineer intern to assist with various tasks in our automated greenhouse.

Responsibilities - WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical and software issues surrounding our automated greenhouse

  • Create facility drawings, or map future projects using CAD

  • Participate in the creation of novel equipment or attachments to automated robotics

  • Learn to maintenance and troubleshoot advanced greenhouse robotics

  • Participate in mechanical engineering solutions to reduce production bottlenecks

In addition to aiding the Controlled Environment Automation Team, the intern would also be given a project to lead, with a summary presentation at the end of the internship. Qualifications - WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA

  • Current sophomore orjunior standing at an accredited university

  • Currently studying Mechanical Engineering or a related field
