Position objective:Support Brand, Marketing, and Product teams through social media posting, social media strategy and analysis, asset development, and content curation.
Description of type of work/area of focus:Day to Day: Scheduling and posting of evergreen social media content. Analyze engagement metrics and audit posting strategy. Conduct competitive audit and identify opportunities. Develop new content on as needed basis. Create new visuals for social media, including Instagram Stories. Collect, review, and report on analytics. Channel voice of customer/voice of market to deliver appropriate content through the right channels. The intern will have a specific project to see through and report back to the Product and Marketing team at the end of the semester. Intern will also be responsible for supporting the Training Production team in completing annual updates needed for ACT training assets.
Education: Currently enrolled pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Communications, Instructional Design, general degrees with concentration in Digital Media or Integrated Communications preferred
Experience Requirements/Preferences: Excellent working knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn; Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, previous experience in marketing or social media marketing. .- Solid knowledge of PowerPoint 2019 - Experience with infographics (data analysis and data visualization).-- Understanding of corporate branding.-
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of analytical tools; creative mindset; ability to multi-task; team player; written communication skills; interest in social media or reputation management; excellent attention to detail. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management, innate creativity and artistic background, effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects and priorities with demanding deadlines.
