Responsibilities

Internship position working 10-20 hours per week.

Project Objective: The Accounting/Finance Intern will support the General Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Tax/Payroll areas of ACT.

Anticipated work-related activities include assisting with:

  • Accounting for ACT subsidiaries (domestic and international)

  • Month-end financial reporting

  • Month-end accounting accruals

  • Special projects

  • Areas within accounting/finance experiencing increased workload and/or employee vacations

Qualifications

Education:Must currently be enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration degree program

Experience:Previous intern experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Accounting and Finance college coursework

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Experience in managing and organizing work
