ENGINEERING INTERN (SUMMER 2020)
Essential Job Functions:
Update Facility layout as changes occur.
Perform time studies.
May work on set-up reductions, Kaizen events or other Continuous Improvement activities.
Apply statistical methods and root cause analysis techniques to improve manufacturing processes and develop production standards.
Participate or lead teams to cost justify, design, and implement new equipment.
Lead projects (either assigned or identified) to eliminate waste and increase value of our processes
Some Design work may be required to complete projects
Participate in multiple projects at one time.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Completed Sophmore level Engineering curriculum in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
AutoCad and Solidworks experience is preferred
Completion of Time Studies class preferred.
Understanding of statistical process control techniques.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
