AgVantage FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. * WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING* If you enjoy being outside and are interested in gaining hands-on Agronomy and seed selling experience, then we can’t wait to talk to you! We are looking for an Seed Sales Intern that is eager to go above and beyond helping our customers. A few areas of emphasis include: * Participates in selected sales activities, i.e. customer meetings, trade shows, sales meeting to keep abreast of seed sales trends and sales environment * Hands on experience in agronomy; scouts crops to ensure they meet the appropriate agronomic conditions and makes proper recommendations regarding ways to improve and increase customer satisfaction * Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities * WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE* * You are pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college or university * You are in good academic standing * WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE* * We value* relationships* and people first and foremost * We are a company that is committed to being an innovation leader in the agriculture industry * We emphasize sustainability practices and stewardship of our resources * We enjoy access to in-house training and leadership development opportunities * WHAT YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT US* The GROWMARK Internship Program has been in existence for 62 years.
