We are currently looking for an innovative and professional intern to join the Engineering department for a summer internship in Fort Madison, Iowa.

SGRE Summer Intern Program is May 15 – August 11, 2023

Responsibilities:

  • Re-organization/tracking of all of our spare parts by identifying, organizing, and helping to develop processes/tracking documents, etc.

  • Organize and optimize new SAP program implementation in order to maximize program efficiency.

  • Works as part-time or vacation temporary help in different technical tasks and operations.

  • Performs all operations, measures, activities, and tasks as assigned by accountable management or supervisor.

  • Learns and acquires respective theories and know-how, techniques, methods, tools, and processes in the respective area.

  • Supports other qualified staff in their tasks and accountabilities.

Required skills, experience, and education:

  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering

  • Rising sophomore, junior, or rising grad student (intern should have at least 2 years left in school)

  • 3.0+ overall GPA

  • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)

  • Solid communication skills both verbal and written

  • Demonstrate innovation and forward-thinking aptitude through previous school projects, employment, or extracurricular activities

Preferred skills, experience, and education:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
