The intern works under the direction of Advocacy and Supervision leadership and functions as support for the Department.

The Advocacy and Supervision Intern will gain experience in a variety of areas within a broker-dealer setting, including data entry, review onsite follow up item and identify areas of improvement. The Advocacy and Supervision Intern will be involved in a variety of areas such as conducting an analysis of current reporting and methods of profitability review. Once the analysis is complete, the Intern will have the opportunity to present their findings to the Payout Review committee. This internship will offer exposure to other departments; including Information Technology, Accounting and Compliance, this will increase the Interns big picture view of the financial services industry for the intern.
