Corteva Agriscience Product Stewardship Intern in Des Moines, Iowa

Description

The Product Stewardship intern will be responsible for project research, analysis, and recommendations to management, assisting strategy leads and regulatory managers with projects. Writing, oral presentation skills, and organizing large amounts of information into usable form will be required.

Responsibilties - What You'll Do:

Create commercial product stewardship support materials.

  • Update sales training materials including e-learning modules, technical brochures, and sell sheets.

  • Coordinate updates with marketing and communications personnel to create and revise customer-facing stewardship materials including Product Use Guides and other technical brochures.

  • Edit content on the internal Stewardship and Compliance website and the external stewardship website on Pioneer.com

Develop working knowledge of Pioneer Bt Corn product registration terms and conditions.

  • Provide communication, training, and data analysis support for Pioneer Bt Corn On-Farm Assessments for IRM Compliance.

  • Provide weekly reports detailing third party assessor company progress toward meeting project objectives and goals.

Learn about Corteva and the agriculture industry.

  • Participate in the Corteva Professional Intern program.

  • Attend select meetings with the Regulatory and Stewardship staff.

  • Coordinate networking sessions with other Pioneer professionals.

Qualifications

Qualifications - What You'll Bring :

  • Sophomore standing or above, majoring in agriculture or policy related field such as ag economics, ag communications, agronomy, public policy, or political science.

  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry and policy development process.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to high priority and time-sensitive activities.

  • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to translate regulatory policy information into stewardship requirements that must be followed by growers and sales professionals.

  • Ability to establish a professional working relationship with DuPont Pioneer employees and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to find and synthesize large amounts of information from a variety of sources. Ability to recognize trends from detailed and disparate information.
