What you'll do

Join our highly collaborative scrum teams as a Product Owner to design and implement solutions used by our clients and business partners. In this position, you’ll be responsible for collaborating with the business, IT scrum teams and all other roles supporting strategic and non-strategic needs. This includes the managing iterations, stories and grooming strategies necessary to deliver the appropriate outcomes.

Our IT internship program offers opportunities for 85+ IT interns and has a strong reputation with over 20 years of history. You’ll work on real projects with a range of team members, including other interns through senior level management. We'll place you in a role customized to your expertise and interests, all while working in a collaborative Agile team environment. This is an excellent opportunity to understand and learn more about Principal’s IT Engineering culture!

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment or has a degree in an accredited program of study related to IT, engineering, or other correlated areas (ex: computer science, MIS, engineering, etc.)

  • Minimum 2.8 Cumulative GPA

  • Involvement in your community

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

  • Strong work ethic

  • A passion for technology and solving problems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic level programming skills

  • Leadership positions in school, work or community organizations
