Kemin Industries Operations Intern in Des Moines, Iowa
The Kemin Animal Health and Nutrition North America (KANA) Operations Intern will provide support on process improvement projects related to productivity, removing constraints and identifying automation opportunities within the production areas for either the Legacy or Encapsulation departments within KANA.

What you’ll be doing:
Involvement in process improvement projects within Kemin Animal Nutrition & Health North America
Collecting, interpreting and presenting data related to production processes to identify productivity and efficiency opportunities as well as constraints
Identify opportunities for automation and capital improvements to increase productivity
Collaborating with Operations and Engineering to make recommendations for improvements
What we require of you:
Pursuing a Supply Chain or Engineering degree (preferably Industrial Engineering)
Highly-detailed and operations oriented, reliable, self-motivated
Interacts well in a team environment
High attention to detail, ability to multi-task and strong follow-up skills
Excellent written/oral communication skills
Ability to interact in a professional manner with wide variety of individuals at all levels within the company (production personnel, maintenance tech, engineering, management, etc.)
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled, dusty environment
