The Kemin Crop Technologies marketing department is looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to assist with our digital marketing plan, social media, website, and email efforts. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the digital media landscape in the B2B industry, including various social media sites and SEO best practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for making updates on the core marketing technology platforms, creating engaging content, posting to company social media networks, developing content calendars on a weekly basis and monitoring social and website analytics to identify viable ideas. This position also seeks ways to leverage existing marketing technology to improve processes and ensure a consistent corporate message and brand. The Digital Marketing intern should understand the Business Unit needs and support the creation of digital solutions using the approved Corporate digital marketing toolset.

What you’ll be doing:
Serving as the primary contact and team technical representative for the Digital Marketing tools to assist the marketing team: CMS Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Inbound Marketing (HubSpot), and Digital Asset Management (DAM).
- Website Content Management (AEM):
Assist with the website tactics: Enhance the website health, update and create a website page, increase the quality and quantity of website traffic with Search Engine Optimization SEO processes, content development and keywords (MOZ).
- Blog (AEM):
Create and maintain a content calendar and write the Business Unit blog
- Social Media (LinkedIn):
Develop the monthly calendar and assist with content management
- Inbound Marketing/Email (HubSpot):
Assist in the creative development for digital marketing campaigns, including but not limited to content development, website landing page, A/B testing, direct mails and email marketing. Track lead generation and offer solutions to retain and nurture the leads. Help to maintain customer lists.
Digital Asset Management:Manage and maintain images in the Adobe brand portal, including the Shutterstock library.
What we require of you:
Hold or pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations (specific background is dependent upon position focus)
1+ years’ experience in social media/marketing
Additional related experience may substitute.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects efficiently to meet deadlines.
High attention to detail, high accuracy, and some analytical abilities.
The ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with vendors, peers, and all levels of management.
In-depth working knowledge of social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube in the B2B market.
Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution, and possession of a distinct sense of urgency.
