Job Description

Intel's Corporate Strategy Analytics and Competition (CSAC) team is composed of data scientists and strategists focused on the most strategically important questions facing Intel.
What you'll do
Engage in interesting and impactful data science projects in an environment where ownership is expected. No coffee runs here.
Collaborate closely with several CSAC data scientists and network more broadly within Intel's data science community.
Gain experience answering strategically important questions for Intel and potentially presenting your work to senior management.
The specific topic on which you will work will be determined based on the team's priorities, as well as your skills and interests.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be an active student pursuing a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Econometrics, or a related field.
6+ months of experience modeling complex systems as systems of differential equations.
6+ months of experience in any of the following topics: NLP, predictive analytics, business analytics, time series forecasting, dynamical systems modeling, control theory, statistical analysis, and applied machine learning research.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Intel's products and the competitive landscape in which Intel operates.
Experience using Neural ODEs to model dynamic systems.
Experience in strategy consulting or similar professional services environments.
Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
Experience collaborating using Github or similar platforms.
Experience writing clean, well-documented, production-quality code.

Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment. To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation. Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development. The team is ccommitted to ensuring that Intel efforts are aligned to, and actively driving success toward the most impactful business strategies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $63,000.00-$166,000.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
