Don't worry, we offer travel assistance and a living stipend to those who are eligible.Responsibilities:This position will assist our Principal Securities marketing and sales support teams to create and implement training projects related to products, planning services, technology solutions and employee onboarding. There are many components to training, and this internship will focus on the facilitation and design of training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, Brainshark, Camtasia, etc. This role will work directly with subject matter experts and leadership throughout the department providing the opportunity to do meaningful work that brings value to our business, advisors and employees.Key Tasks:Design training materials to create a consistent experience in line with Principal's brand and our business area's goals.Craft messaging or edit training scripts to reflect Principal's brand voice and be appropriate for the audience. Ex: new employee, experienced advisor, completely new advisor.Develop videos/presentations for on-demand training opportunitiesAssist with promotion and communications of new training resources as they become availableQualifications:Basic QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in communications, educational studies, marketing, graphic design, business or related degree3.0 GPA or aboveActive involvement within extracurricular activities or within the communityStrong PowerPoint or other presentation tools experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Instructional Design TheoryPrevious internship or work experience in a similar fieldAdditional Information:What's next?
