The Change Management intern does not have supervisory responsibility, however this person will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed. The Change Management Intern will work with project teams and act as a coach in helping them fulfill the role of change agents. The Change Management Intern may also provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Management Intern will support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.

This individual can work at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Begin to learn a structured methodology and assist in change management activities

  • Learn how to assess the change impact

  • Assist in completing change management assessments

  • Help Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics

  • Help Identify and manage anticipated resistance

  • Assist in creation of actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.

  • Support communication efforts

  • Support training efforts

  • Coach managers and supervisors

  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities

  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists

  • Integrate change management activities into project plan

  • Assist in evaluation and ensure user readiness

  • Track and report issues

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • Must be a U.S Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
