Principal Business Analytics Intern (Summer 2021) in Des Moines, Iowa
As a Business Analytics Intern on our Customer Care team you'll enhance usage and analysis of Voice of the Customer (VOC) data. You'll work directly with leadership to identify trends and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
Here are a few examples of the types of things you'll do:
Pull data from multiple sources and make that data easy to interpret through visuals
Identify and explore data trends in VOC feedback
Work with team leaders to perform root cause analysis
Partner with various WSRS teams to identify improvement opportunities
Present findings to leadership
Current enrollment as an undergraduate. Business Analytics, Human Center Design, and Operations Management majors preferred or equivalent experience. (Market Analytics or Research, Journalism/Communications)
3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
Involvement on campus through extracurricular activities or within the community.
Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to create calculations, develop pivot tables, prepare graphs and charts.
Ability to make connections with data sets and business insights.
Ability to translate data into stories for business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and collaborative mentality.
Process improvement and flow charting skills
