We are seeking a talented Application Developer to develop, test, maintain, and support applications that are secure, scalable, and robust. Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions to those problems.
What You Can Look Forward to
Develop and maintain new and existing technology systems.
Develop appropriate requirements, scope, and estimates.
Build strong internal and external partnerships.
Actively supports CO-OP's strategic future, culture and leadership practices.
Proactively pursues development opportunities and show expected progress on learning plan.
With direct supervision from other project members, create and maintain basic to moderately complex applications for the benefit of internal and external customers.
Assist in the development of technical application design documents.
Under direct supervision of other project members, provide initial unit testing of all coding changes with the goal of providing a stable production environment.
Builds and maintains applications in such a way that exceeds regulatory requirements. Security is a critical design requirement and data, systems, and applications must be protected at all points of the development lifecycle.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Working towards a BS in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
Mimimum of 3.0 GPA.
1+ years of education working with C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, database design and development.
Working towards a BS in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience can be substituted for degree
1+ years development experience in class required.
Experience with coding in more than two development languages (C#, SQL, VB.NET, C++, Objective C, HTML, Java Script, Java, XML, ASP.NET, etc.) and be proficient in those languages.
Knowledge of web development environments (Windows Server, IIS, WebSphere or Apache).
Knowledge of Modern OS architecture concepts and communications protocols.
Basic database design and development.
Basic modern graphical user interface and development methodologies.
Fundamental software development methodologies, design and implementation.
Knowledge of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
Any additional programming language knowledge a plus.
