The Marketing Intern will be based out of Per Mar Centre headquarters in Davenport, Iowa.20 or more hours per week throughout the summer, $10 per hour.Job Summary:The Marketing Intern will get hands on Digital Marketing experience, and be responsible for aiding the Marketing Team in implementing its Marketing and Communication plan.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Assist in writing and creating content for press releases, blogs, email newsletters, ads and social media postsAnalyze website, social media, advertising and lead data to track ROI for traditional and digital marketing and sales initiativesAssist with sponsored eventsWork with Inside Sales on marketing initiativesAssist with implementing and maintaining consistent branding across the companyPosition RequirementsEducation and/or Experience:High School Diploma or GED is requiredA current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related fieldKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must have exceptional verbal communication and writing skills in addition to customer service skillsMust be creative, well-organized and detail orientedMust be capable of handling multiple situations without decreasing productivityMust have strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel and familiarity with Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Suite is a plusMust possess the values important to Per Mar Security Services - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and AccountabilityPer Mar is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer/Women/Minorities/Veterans/DisabilitiesThis position is currently accepting applications.EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
