Ensuring the health and safety of everyone that works at CO-OP is of primary importance to us. The majority of our organization continues to be in a work-from-home status. This allows for better social distancing practices for those of our employees that do remain in our office locations. We continue to work diligently to maintain everyone’s health and safety by keeping the facilities clean, having everyone screened for temperatures upon entry and providing information about symptoms and what to do if employees feel sick. Our COVID response team has been working tirelessly since March and continues to provide transparent communication around COVID cases and re-entry plans.
We are seeking a talented Training and Development Intern to monitor the effectiveness of training on employees using individual or group performance results. The intern will be responsible for some administrative duties including creating, and organizing internal course documents. They will get experience analyzing training needs, designing, developing and implementing custom training materials, curating off the shelf content, tracking training completions, and assisting in managing tasks in our learning management system.
This position isfully-remote. That means we are open to talent across the country and the person in this position will be able to continue working remotely even after we transition back into our physical office locations.

What You Can Look Forward to
Design, implement, manage and continuously improve primary development programs.
Gain experience partnering with key stakeholders, subject matter experts to conduct needs assessments, program development and facilitation, performance management and other development needs and activities
Gain experience working in a leaning management systems and completing regular maintenance tasks such as curating off the shelf content, custom reporting, etc.
Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods (Ex. ADDIE, SAM, Blooms Taxonomy of Learning Objectives.
Develop and implement custom training material using PowerPoint and Articulate360.
Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
3 years undergraduate degree completed at college/university or equivalent experience, particularly in the areas of Training, Human Resources, or related field.
Program and project management skills.
Knowledge of training and organizational development techniques.
Strong presenting, and facilitation skills.
Strong collaboration skills.
Strong problem solving, critical thinking, judgment and decision-making ability.
Strong skills using Microsoft Office programs – Outlook, Excel PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management skills.
The ability to work as part of a team demonstrated through involvement with student organizations, community involvement, work experience, or other activities.
