Join the Mission Systems Airborne and Ground Communication Products Department and help shape, define, and design communication solutions that connect militaries around the world! As a Systems Engineering Co-op, you will design and develop military software-defined radio products covering all spectrum bands. This position will be onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA.
You will play an integral hands-on role in developing the next generation of both networking and non-networking software defined radio waveforms for existing and new communication platforms. You will interface with multi-discipline engineering teams to create total system solutions, addressing both domestic and international customer needs.

This position may be eligible for relocation.
Developed ability to work with system level design requirements and understand system integration approaches.
Understand the importance of meeting schedule, cost, and performance goals.
Solid understanding of build, test, quality, and customer acceptance review processes.
Effective technical communicator.
General knowledge of hardware, firmware and/or software design process.
Strong technical and writing skills.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract.
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.
