This engineering co-op position requires performing in a multifunctional team composed of systems engineers and software engineers. The candidate selected will be involved with the development of aircraft avionics for the H-47 Chinook platform. The primary role of this assignment is to support the platform systems engineering team on the aircraft.
The assignment will require the verification of software requirements by creating and running functional tests in laboratory test facilities using a combination of simulations and interfacing subsystems. The assignment may also require assisting in other elements of the systems engineering process such as requirements analysis and capture, system/subsystem design, software requirements definition, and software/hardware integration.
Interacting with customers to define/capture man-machine interface requirements, and translating operational concepts into designs and prototypes.

Effective time management and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
This position may require occasional travel.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
