The Air Transport Displays and Platform Systems team is currently seeking a Systems Engineering Co-op to help us create displays solutions that are high quality, reliable and safe. The Air Transport Displays and Platform Systems team is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Student employees are expected to be able to adapt to change, learn independently, ask questions, collaborate with teammates to make the best decisions, and be self motivated to contribute in a work environment positively.
Other responsibilities and job requirements include
Developing and executing software and system-level tests
Time management skills - ability to work unsupervised, multi-task, and coordinate work
Self-motivated - take personal ownership of tasks and responsibilities
Ability to work in a team environment
Effective communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
Actively pursuing a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline, preferably in Aerospace, Computer or Electrical Engineering field.
Have demonstrated problem solving skills and an understanding of engineering principles
Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language
