Position Role Type:

This Intern will participate in the preparation of simple to somewhat complex PCB Design layouts or revisions per verbal instructions, electrical inputs, existing hardware, or engineering lab models, received from both mechanical and electrical engineering and/or other technical support personnel to create possible complex circuit card assemblies incorporating Collins Aerospace best practice for fabrication, assembly and testability. In additional they will interface and troubleshoot printed circuit designs, revisions and CAD library models with Manufacturing, Engineering and PWB fabrication vendors.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Associates' or undergraduate degree in an applicable discipline.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

• Technical problem-solving aptitude

• Advanced communication skills – written and verbal

• Advanced problem-solving skills

• Strong Customer Service orientation, to work with Design Engineering Customers

• Demonstrated ability to follow through with work assignments and support management's policies and procedures

• Willing to learn basics in Printed Circuit Design using Mentor Graphics Xpedition layout tools.

• Must be able to demonstrate an ability to continually learn new technologies and processes.

• Must have a passion for accuracy and customer service
