Raytheon Technologies Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Co-op (Summer/Fall 2022) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Position Overview

This position is for an Electrical Engineering co-op that directly supports manufacturing in the process of acceptance testing of product. Success for this role means optimization of automated test procedures, reduced maintenance of test stations, compliant processes for acceptance testing, and easy-to-follow troubleshooting sequences for common failures. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with test engineering to troubleshoot and develop test stations

  • Collaborate with test software engineering to optimize test software capabilities

  • Mentor with current engineers supporting manufacturing test processes and equipment

  • Collection and analysis of quality/test failure data

  • Development and management of test documentation/test fixtures/cables

  • Learning and utilizing tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SAP, Jira)

  • Contribute to team efforts driving customer satisfaction through quality and on-time delivery

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
