Job Description SummaryAegon Global Technology (AGT) provides IT infrastructure and application support services to the Aegon businesses. AGT is responsible for the provision, support and ongoing maintenance of IT operating platforms, applications and services. There is also a strong connection with external providers necessitating vendor and service provider management. AGT is responsible for driving the technology strategy and providing IT infrastructure solutions that are in alignment with business objectives and the AGT technology strategy.AGT team42 is a so called cross functional / devops team that focuses on the AWS cloud. The team is focused on designing, implementing and monitoring cloud foundational activities.Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Account creation and automation

  • Cloud security

  • IAM roles and policies

  • Reporting and visualization

Qualifications

  • Strong written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in evaluating Data Structure and Algorithmic efficiencies.

  • Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting abilities.

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programing/scripting languages: Shell scripting, Bash or PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, Python

  • A Passionate drive to Document your work and keep Wiki’s up to date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Version Control Systems, specify Git.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD, experience with Jenkins or Bamboo is a plus.

  • Basic Unix and Windows System Admin knowledge.

  • Cloud Computing Concepts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook

Working Conditions

  • Typical working hours would be between 8 AM and 5 PM Central Time Monday thru Friday, during a set of agreed upon hours.

  • r internship, applicants must be currently enrolled full-time at a college or university pursuing a specific degree program. Internships are not available for students who have completed their college education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
