The Electrical Engineering Co-op position will work with the Data Links IPT in the Cedar Rapids, IA facility. This position is for an Electrical Engineering student interested in learning engineering principles used in manufacturing. If selected, the employee will become familiar with production management objectives along with product quality issues associated with state of the art manufacturing techniques and engineering programs.
Collect test failure information and prepare failure analysis reports as required for production.
Assist in analyzing test failures for root causes and corrective actions.
Analysis of various manufacturing data; i.e. Work In Process (WIP), test output & failures, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Assist with optimizing test flow relative to cost constraints.
Assist in developing and preparing test and diagnostic programs to aid in the troubleshooting of test failures
Works with Electrical Engineers and Test Technicians to understand product and test system issues
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (Green Card) is required.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
