This position will offer student hands on project exposure to a variety of municipal projects in small and medium size communities. This position will allow you to work in both our Dubuque and Bettendorf offices during the summer. This is a unique opportunity to see a variety of projects and learn from a diverse group of project managers. This position could receive a monthly housing stipend depending on your needs. Responsibilities:Construction observation of municipal water, road/utilities or wastewater projectsConstruction staking and site surveysPreparation of permits for municipal projectsPrepare technical reportsAssist with CAD work or project estimationsRequired Experience:Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (sophomore-senior standing) required2.75 GPA minimum requiredPrevious civil engineering intern or co-op experience preferredPrior construction inspection experience preferredCivil 3D or Auto CAD experience would be a plusAbility to think critically and problem solveA desire to learn more about municipal engineering and consultingThis position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
