Job Description:


The Office of Admissions seeks to hire an Administrative Assistant to provide organizational, operational and project support. This position will provide administrative and clerical support to the Office of Admissions by collaborating closely with colleagues to complete tasks and share outcomes to ensure timelines are agreed upon, target dates are met, and goals accomplished.

In this role, you will provide general email correspondence with prospective international students, support various programs and events, sending invitations, managing registration lists, creating and sending certificates, updating PowerPoint slides, and program agendas. This position will s upport international recruitment staff in organizing and packaging material to ship abroad for various events.

As the Administrative Assistant supporting The Office of Admissions, International you will support delegation travel planning for yield events abroad, contacting hotels to check venue availability and pricing, booking flights, hotel reservations, coordinating ground transportation and managing registration lists.

Other duties include processing incoming mail, calendaring, making travel arrangements, ordering supplies, taking meeting minutes, assisting with onboarding/offboarding staff members, and formatting excel sheets with prospect student data and importing into SalesForce.

Example of Duties• Conducts basic research, gathers data, and prepares reports.• Arranges calls and schedules meetings.• Assists with making basic travel reservations and itineraries.• Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings.• Types correspondence, reports, or other documents.• Edits documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.Level Guidelines• Entry level position acquiring job skills and learning standard operating procedures and policies to complete tasks.• Works under relatively close supervision and receives guidance on new work assignments.• Works on assignments which are routine in nature requiring limited judgment• Refers difficult or less routine issues to supervisor or higher-level staff for assistance.• May provide guidance to students.
